We host one wedding per day and never double book, so the entire property and our full attention are yours. With more than 550 weddings since 2015 and a purpose-built, climate-controlled property on 14 private acres, you get the character of a boutique venue with the dependability of a professional operation.

Can I book WoodFired Wednesdays for a private event?

It's a public community night.

For groups, reserve a VIP table for reserved seating and food and beverage for up to 10. If you're interested in a private gathering, reach out and we'll talk through your options.

Where do I park?

On-site parking is available.

We recommend carpooling. If the lot fills, park on the streets opposite County Road 133. Please do not park directly on County Road 133.

What happens if it rains?

We move inside the Historic Barn.

The party goes on rain or shine.

Is there live music?

Yes, live music every week.

Local artists perform live acoustic sets throughout the evening.

Is there seating, or should I bring a chair?

Seating is first come, first served.

Feel free to bring a blanket or lawn chairs to relax, or reserve a VIP table for guaranteed seating for your group.

Is it family friendly?

Yes, all ages are welcome.

Entry is $5, payable at check-in by cash or card, with an ATM on site. General seating needs no reservation, and VIP tables can be reserved ahead. Booked Rolling Ridge couples get in free leading up to their wedding.

Our lodging, The Cottage at Enchanted Pines, sleeps 10 across five bedrooms and is a short drive away, perfect for arriving early or hosting your party. Several hotels are also within about 5 minutes.

We're a countryside escape just over an hour from the Twin Cities via I-94, close enough for guests to reach easily and far enough to feel like a getaway.

What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

Down payments are non-refundable.

We recommend event insurance to protect your deposits against the unexpected. The specific terms for your event are outlined in your rental contract, and our team is glad to walk you through them.

Are children welcome?

Yes, your guest list is yours.

Children are welcome at private weddings and events. You're free to plan the celebration that fits your family and friends.

Do you provide security during our event?

A team member is always on site.

A Rolling Ridge team member is present for your entire event, and a security guard isn't required under most circumstances.

Do we need event insurance, and what do you require?

Yes, we require event liability insurance.

We carry our own coverage, and we ask you to carry a policy with $1M per occurrence listing Rolling Ridge LLC as additional insured. It's surprisingly affordable and protects you, your guests, and the property. We recommend WedSafe at wedsafe.com.

Is smoking allowed?

Yes, in designated outdoor areas.

Smoking is permitted outdoors in designated areas away from the barn.

Are candles, sparklers, or open flames allowed?

Open flames aren't permitted.

Real burning candles and sparklers aren't allowed near our wood barn, and sky lanterns are illegal in Minnesota. Flameless options are a beautiful, worry-free alternative.

Can our dog be part of the ceremony or photos?

Yes, with written permission.

Let us know in advance and we'll make arrangements for your pup to be part of the special moments.

Are pets allowed?

Not generally, for everyone's safety.

Your dog is welcome to join for photos and the ceremony with written permission arranged ahead of time.

Can we bring our own DJ or band?

Yes.

We have electrical hookups indoors and outdoors, so your DJ or band can set up wherever your celebration takes you. They provide their own speakers for amplified music.

Can we use our own vendors?

Yes, with one exception.

You're welcome to bring your own wedding professionals, or choose from our preferred list. Food and beverage is the only service handled exclusively in-house.

Are linens and napkins included?

Yes, with most food and beverage packages.

Table linens in black, white, or ivory and cloth napkins in a variety of colors are included with most packages.

We offer rectangular, round, and pub tables, plus 600 padded white chairs for both your ceremony and dinner, along with tables and chairs for the outdoor courtyard. Setup and takedown are handled for you, with custom arranging available for a small fee.

Can you create a custom menu or signature cocktail?

Absolutely.

Our catering team can customize your menu and even craft a signature cocktail to give your celebration an extra touch.

Do you accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies?

Yes, menus are fully customizable.

Share dietary needs and allergies at your tasting and consultation, and our catering team will build a menu that works for your guests.

Can we do a tasting?

Yes, a complimentary tasting is included.

Custom Catering schedules a private tasting and consultation three to four months before your event so your menu is exactly right.

Is there a food and beverage minimum?

No food or beverage minimum.

Can we bring our own alcohol?

No, all alcohol is served through our bar.

Can we bring our own food or drinks?

Outside food and drink aren't permitted.

The exceptions are your own dessert and pre-approved snack items. Everything else is provided by our in-house catering partner.

The entire property was designed and engineered to meet or exceed state, local, and federal building, safety, and accessibility codes, including fire sprinklers throughout, so you can celebrate with confidence.

Is the lighting in the barn and lounge included?

Yes, at no extra charge.

Our LED uplighting in the barn and lounge can be matched to your wedding colors.

Do you provide sound and audio equipment?

Yes, sound is built in.

We provide portable sound systems for outdoor ceremonies with Bluetooth and a wireless microphone, plus a connected system for background music and announcements throughout the property. Your DJ or band brings their own speakers for amplified music.

Is there parking on site, and is it free?

Yes, ample free on-site parking.

Guests park right on the property at no charge, and cars may be left overnight if needed.

Can we do hair and makeup on site?

Yes, bring your own artists.

Your hair and makeup team is welcome to work on site, and the bridal suite is set up for it.

Where does the wedding party get ready?

The bridal suite is your home base.

The suite gives your party a comfortable, private space to get ready. Ask us about additional getting-ready space when you tour.

Is there a bridal suite to get ready in?

Yes, a private, secure bridal suite.

It features coded entry, a walk-in closet with lockers, and a private in-suite bathroom with a sink and shower.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Yes, fully accessible.

We designed the property so everyone, including guests with limited mobility, can reach every amenity we offer.

Are there restrooms on site?

Yes, modern restrooms right on the property.

The Lone Tree Lounge has 10 restroom stalls with sinks, hand dryers, and a baby changing station. No outhouses here.

Are the buildings heated and air conditioned?

Yes, our main spaces are climate controlled.

The barn, Garden Atrium, and lounge have modern heating and air conditioning, sized to warm or cool quickly once your guests arrive.

What happens if it rains or the weather turns bad?

You always have a beautiful indoor backup.

Ceremonies and receptions can move into the Historic Barn or Garden Atrium, and every main space is climate controlled, so your day is comfortable in any season.

How many ceremony locations are there?

Several settings to choose from.

Favorites include the Foundation Patio with its rock wall, the garden-lined courtyard, and the shade of the oak trees by our wooden arbor. The Historic Barn and Garden Atrium make beautiful indoor options if the weather turns.

What spaces are included when we book?

The entire property is yours for the day.

That includes the Historic Barn, the Garden Atrium, the Lone Tree Lounge, the courtyard and patio, the bridal suite, and the surrounding grounds. We'll walk the full property with you on your tour.

How many guests can the venue hold?

Up to 300 guests.

Our 14 acres and large climate-controlled spaces give groups of every size room to spread out and celebrate comfortably.

Do you provide a day-of coordinator?

Yes, a day-of coordinator is included.

Through our catering partnership you have the support of a day-of coordinator, plus a Rolling Ridge team member on site throughout your celebration.

Will someone from your team be here during our event?

Yes, always.

A Rolling Ridge team member is on site for the entire event to keep everything running smoothly.

Do you help with setup and takedown?

Yes, as much or as little as you like.

We can design your layout and set up and arrange tables for an added fee, or you can place them yourself at no charge. Table takedown is always included.

When does the music have to end and when do guests need to leave?

Music ends at 11:45 PM, guests leave by midnight.

You then have until 1:00 AM to gather gifts and decor.

When can we hold our rehearsal?

Typically one to two hours before the ceremony.

When your ceremony and reception are both on site, we schedule the rehearsal shortly before your ceremony time.

Can we decorate the night before?

Usually no, since events are back to back.

If no event is booked the six weeks before yours, we can offer discounted day-before setup. Because everything happens on one property, morning setup is quick.

What time does everything need to be out by?

Everything leaves the night of your event.

Amplified music ends at 11:45 PM and guests depart by midnight. You have until 1:00 AM to collect gifts and decor. Items can't be left overnight so we can prepare for the next celebration.

What time can we arrive to start setting up?

Access begins at 8:00 AM.

Since your ceremony often starts later in the day, there's plenty of time to set up the morning of your event.

How many hours do we get the venue on our wedding day?

The property is yours for the full day.

Because we host only one event per day, you have the venue from 8:00 AM to 11:59 PM.

Do you host corporate and non-wedding events?

Yes, we host all kinds of celebrations.

From corporate gatherings and holiday parties to showers and celebrations of life, our Ready to Roll packages make planning easy.

Non-wedding events can be reserved up to a year in advance for Sunday through Thursday, and six weeks out for Friday through Sunday.

Do you offer off-season or weekday pricing?

Yes, we have off-peak and weekday options.

Select dates from November through April carry special off-peak pricing, and weekday events can offer added value.

What payment options and plans do you offer?

A deposit to book, with the balance due before your event.

You reserve your date with the damage deposit and half the rental fee, and the remaining balance is due ahead of your celebration.
